Covid & Health Update
Please read carefully
With Pleinvrees ADE only days away, we want to share an important health and Covid update, so you know exactly what is expected from you before entering the festival and how you can prepare. Please read carefully!
Which (extra) rules do I have to follow to get access to the events?
To gain access to the event, a valid QR code is required in the Corona Check app. This can be obtained when you are fully vaccinated, via a certificate of recovery or a negative test result via Testen voor Toegang. The QR code can be loaded into the Corona Check app, which is then checked at the entrance together with your ID. In case you're traveling from abroad, then a QR code of your Digital Corona Certificate (DCC) will suffice too. In that case the Corona Check App is not needed. When you’re traveling from a country outside of the European Union and therefore you don’t have a DCC QR-code, then you will have to get a negative test result that is maximum 24 hours old, via Testen voor Toegang (www.testenvoortoegang.nl).
Do I need to download the Corona Check app before coming to the event?
Yes, we strongly recommend installing the app and loading the QR code in, before coming to the venue. Sometimes the cellular reception at an event site is limited and downloading might not be possible or can take a very long time. Unfortunately, we cannot admit you to the event site without a QR code in the app. Alternatively you can print your QR-code and bring it with you, if you don’t have a smartphone. And again: if you're traveling from abroad, then a QR code of your Digital Corona Certificate (DCC) will suffice too, but please also make sure you have that loaded on your phone before arriving at the festival.
What can I expect at the entrance of the event?
Upon entering the venue, your QR-code will be scanned. If you don’t have a smartphone, make sure your QR-code is printed out. At the same time, we will do an ID check so make sure you have a valid ID with you. Once you’ve showed your QR-code, you will continue to ticket scan and visitation. From that moment on, there will be no additional COVID measurements.
Do I need to get tested to get access to the event?
Are you not fully vaccinated, you don’t have a certificate of recovery, or are you traveling from outside of the European Union? Only then you will need to take a test at a Testen voor Toegang location (www.testenvoortoegang.nl).
How does testing for access work?
We ask all our visitors to take a test within 24 hours before you enter the event, to show that you don’t have COVID-19. This probably means that you should get tested on Saturday morning. Schedule a test appointment on time for this moment. You can make an appointment yourself via Testing for Entry at www.testenvoortoegang.nl. When you receive your result, you can create a QR-code within the Corona Check app which will be scanned at the entrance of the event.
When can I make an appointment to get tested?
Testing appointments can be scheduled from two weeks prior to the festival, so that’s already possible.
How long in advance do I need to get tested?
Your result is valid for a maximum of 24 hours until the end of the event. NOTE: if you’re planning to arrive at the event at 16:00h, you should count the 24 hour window from that time onwards (day before from 16:00h). Schedule a test appointment in on time for this moment. You can make an appointment for this yourself two weeks in advance via www.testenvoor access.nl. You will receive the result by email. You can then process the results in a QR code in the Corona Check app that is scanned at the entrance of the event, or print the QR code to bring with you.
When will I receive the result of my test?
At Testing for Entry via www.testenvoortoegang.nl you can schedule your testing appointment. At this point, they say you will receive your result after max two hours. Please note: this can change, depending on how busy it is, so please keep an eye on the website if this changes. Also please be aware this is an external organization, and we are not responsible for the test results. If you don’t receive your result or have any other problems, please contact their customer service at email@example.com or via 088-7770809 (Monday till Sunday 08:00 - 20:00).
Do I need to pay for a test myself?
No, testing for access is free at this point.
Do I need to get tested when I am already vaccinated?
No that’s not needed, but do make sure your have proof of this, being your QR-code in the Corona Check app.
Can I get tested at the venue?
No. We don’t have a testing location at the venue.
Can I show a negative test result from a different organization?
No. Only results from tests scheduled through Testing for Entry will be accepted for entry. Go to www.testenvoortoegang.nl to schedule your appointment.
I don’t have a smartphone, how can I show the QR code with test result at the entrance?
You will receive the test result per email. You can print your QR-code and bring it to the festival to get scanned.
Does my ticket need to be personalized?
No, that is not needed.
I’m coming from abroad, can I get tested as well?
Yes, if you’re from abroud you can also plan your test at www.testenvoortoegang.nl
I don’t want to get tested. What to do now?
We follow the guidelines that are set by the government to organize the event as safely as possible. If you decide not to get tested before the event, you will not be able to access the event. We don’t offer a refund for your ticket.
Do I have to wear a face mask?
What happens with my test data?
Your test data will not be saved by our organization in any way possible. You will remain in control of your test data.
Who is liable in the event of an infection during the event?
Visiting the festival is at visitors’ own risk.
